There was a Canadian Silver COPO, which was hit hard and had severe door pillar damage.
I think that it may have come from a junk yard at one time.
However, this car was the real deal and was restored.

There was another Canadian Silver COPO, which was a rebody. That fact was discovered when the new owner took the car to be restored after collecting parts for two years.
Both parties came to an amicable settlement to rectify this situation.

I do know of a Canadian Silver RS COPO, which started off as a set of tags, from a real COPO, which was a race car from day one. These tags were combined with a pristine '69 RS Z to make a rebody COPO.

So, one of the three is real.

As always, buyer beware.
