			If I had to guess Id say they probably pipe a duct to the intercooler to blower over it to cool the charge..  BITD Holley used to offer a NOS kit for the Subaru WRX and it was eccentially the same idea; they had spray bars that went across the intercooler and it would spray nitrous across it to lower the temperature..
