Image verification?

I was wondering the same and have been skipping anything w/ the image verification.
Sorry to hear it's to block spammer problems but good to know it's supposed to be there.

As to Spam the mystery meat, I haven't tried it in 40 plus years and here's why.
My dad left a sandwich in the bottom of a hiking backpack and found it again two years later.
He didn't eat any but it was still "good" and the Spam had somehow lived also averted mold etc from the bread?
