What a great story. As one who spent a career in the military I always appreciate it when someone thanks me for serving. This story also shows the sacrifice that military families make. Our military members, including National Guard and Reservists, are are being deployed much more often than they used to be, leaving their dependents behind. That is not easy for them in so many ways. I definitely be wearing red on Fridays, thanks for sharing this.
