Default Re: Dash tag and Firewall tag different?

The Vin plate on dash starts 11327 as it should for a 6 cyl car
Yet the firewall tag starts with a 11427 which shows it to be a v8 car?
What gives???
Is this normal and possible?
Thanks

Yes, this is normal as all Nova's have 11427 on their Trim Tag. Tell us more about the car, we love '68 Nova's around here!
