Default Re: 65 El Camino project opinions

Made a road trip to Wyoming this weekend froze my rear off but loaded up the El Camino I went ahead and bolted the doors and front clip on to transport, it is the high horse 327 4 speed and 12 bolt 65000 original miles the guy I purchased it from took it apart over 30 years ago to restore then got married had a family and never touched it again, everything was stored inside except for the tub.

One thing I was amazed about was how close the castings dates are on engine to the time it was sold one head was L 4 4 (Dec 4 64) and sale date was Dec 22 1964 water pump block heads all are with in 30 days on casting dates
