They do look good,but I have to take issue with the term,"dye" here.
They're painted,not dyed.
Dye is a different animal altogether that consists of absorption into a material which will not come out if done properly.And if it does,not completely as it will literally stain the fabric forever.
You can scratch a painted material off to reveal it's true undercoat,easier then you can a dyed.
From the SEM website:
