I just talked to him, he got it in 1980. he got it from a vietnam vet, who was getting a divorce, and he had to paint early on as the soon to be exwife threw a <span style="font-style: italic">tricycle</span> on it, and scratched it. It's a 70. Original interior, original drivetrain never touched, 50k miles, never any rust. I doubt its a ram air iv, so did not ask.

He said I can drive it in the spring, looking forward to it, its in storage now.

I had no idea they were worth that much. Looking at prices on cars on line now, they seem to hover at $200K asking for restored. Wow.
