Hi Rick !

I just realized your engine is .070 over and that made me think about a .060 over CE 396 that I have. My CE block has some scratches so I can´t use it as it is. Would .070 over be the absolute maximum size on a 396 block or can it be bored even bigger ? I´m not sure .070 would be enough on my block, and that´s why I ask.

Hi Anders,
If you have your block sonic tested, some times they can be bored as much as .125 safely.
