Default Re: 1949 Chevrolet 3100 - V8 Prototype

With M22Mikey's inspiration, I decided to keep at it and eventually, all the wires ended up attached to something. Go figure, everything works!!! I know, I should just end here and sell it. But, seein's how I'm on the home stretch I might as well just finish it up. All the wiring is routed where it needs to be, and now that I tested it all I can go back and wrap it all up in the old tyme style asphalt covered cloth wrap. Inner fenders are painted and mounted up, and the gastank is in.

I added an old Delco style decal to the battery (which I mounted in the engine bay like a later style) and will be making a custom over for the top that'll feature the fill caps. With the inner fender mounted, I could route the wires where I wanted them to go and sort of see how the whole package is looking in the engine bay. Now, time to hide that heater valve and newer style heater...
