I may be wrong here, but if you had a combination of exterior trim/brightwork packages the edges were left exposed chrome and these louvers came fully chromed from the factory. If you had no exterior trim, louvers were painted 100% body color and, I believe, these louvers came from the factory with no chrome plating (diff p/n). Some others may be able to confirm this.?
