I'm going to be running a 427 .60 over (439) 12:5:1 big block with heavily ported 990 heads and a bullet cam. I have a mint edelbrock tm2r tarantula manifold and also have a weiand pro ram, I'm in love with both the super stock and pro stock theme but what will make more power ultimately? Tunnel ram with 660's or that tarantula with a good carb? Thanks guys!
Thanks, Vinnie </div></div> Vinnie, I've had the Tarantula on my Booth-Aron L72 with an L88 attitude since I bought it in '84. After having some cylinder head massaging and porting, it it a killer on the car with 13.5:1. I run the new Holley 850 with 4 idle circuits. I've never had it stop pulling, even at 6800 w/88 gears and a T400. Jeff
