my dream 50s car is a 53-4 stude coupe blown hemi or nail-head buick...black red guts..solid disc caps on pie crust tires....

Growing up there was a tranny shop in my town and the guy had a blown hemi daytona..a real one..and a blown hemi 53 stude...both salt flat cars...those cars left a mark in my memory for sure...both where black...and you could touch the salt spray on them...it was a badge of honor..and would stay on the cars a long long time before the old guy would clean them up...

last i heard they where both still in the basement of the shop..and the children want no part of the tranny shop nor the cars...its been a decade since i inquired about them....im sure they are there

that stude did it for me..although ive never had an opportunity to buy a good one..i will get one..i always look..always..even though i cant get to the cars i already own..lol
