Default SILICONE BRAKE FLUID

Don't drive my 1970 Nova as much as I should so she sits a lot--in a temperature controlled garage.Developed a master cylinder leak so I got a kit and will rebuild it.Going to flush out the system and am thinking of using silicone brake fluid. No more worries of water absorption in the fluid.Have heard both good and bad info on silicone.Any input would be appreciated.Thanks,Bill.
