All 64's would have the 10-bolt. The new for '64 10-bolt for Chevy II/Nova and Chevelle.
Would be great to find some documentation supporting the availability of this engine but I bet if anything found would be an early pipe-dream for a possible option that never came to fruition.
It'd be "very special" if it received a pre-prod 12-bolt which didn't appear until '65.
