Default Re: 67 nova boys black gem

Ok...here is a start.

Dave
67 Nova Boy

Before the start...The 67 Nova SS 327/275 4-speed 12 bolt

What I started with...A standard bore 20,000 mile 302 with the over the counter "292" Chevrolet Racing heads. Engine was in my 34 3 window coupe from Princeton New Jersey that I bought in 85. Here is my 34 Ford...67 Nova SS and my brothers 69 Chevelle SS 396. He is the second owner of this garage art that he never drives anymore.. sitting for 5 years now!

1985...

Engine was torn down back in 2001...re ringed the factory #3927172 pistons, block was honed... factory full floating rods were stress relieved...new SPS rod bolts{I work there so they were free} 292 heads had new Manley stainless valves and a 3 angle valve job.Polished the standard crank... new bearings and engine was assembled. A few more miles were added over the years in the Nova to shows like Super Chevy.

More to come....
