Today I was at a car show in Delavan, WI. A couple of guys came up to me and we started discussing my car with me as they knew that it was rare. They asked me if there was a way to tell if a '69 was a real SS car or not by the trim tag or VIN.
Long story short they were asking for their friend who currently has the car being discussed here on this thread. I told them the whole story about it and they seemed a little surprised. I also said that I meant no disrespect to them or the owner but I knew what I was talking about beacuse of Dan's knowledge on the car and him getting the truth out. It's a shame because it's a beautiful car and worth some good money but NOT what they are asking.....especially for clone. IMO Kurt
