Default 1969 Hurst/Olds @ Kansas City

http://www.mecum.com/auctions/lot_de...p;entryRow=252

Lot S131 in Kansas City.

About 3 weeks ago, I got to see this car when it was getting some work done.
Guys, this is the best looking, most original, most complete survivor 69 Hurst I have ever seen. I would say that the car is 90% original paint. The rear wing, hood scoop and the gold stripe on the hood are what I could see different. The car has a very well kept interior, deluxe steering wheel, rally-pac gauges, dash plaque. Non-air car with SL code rear gear. OH code turbo 400 with vin matching serial number on the drivers pan rail. Virtually zero rust on the car. Did not check the pad on the engine, but I believe this to be a born with drive train! Open face alt, dual bail master cylinder, all 4 T3 headlamps. Correct patenia throughout!

I spoke to Kurt Karch and he had spoke with the original owner. 16 year old kid purchased with dad's help. Dad's name on dash plaque. Still has dealer badging on deck lid.
Purchased from an 87 year old gentlemen's estate. Wearing Goodyear Flexten Radial GT's (1978-1981 time frame). Came in with over the frame rail headers and edelbrock intake. All paperwork and spare parts were in 7 boxes.

I am going to watch this one sell here in KC. I have no association with the car other than I own one. Call me if you have any questions that I can help with. My cell is 816-654-3400.

Rusty
