Default Re: Mecum Kissimmee Gold 69 COPO - Thoughts?

I sold this COPO originally. It was the only COPO we ordered as the others we sold were from stock. The car was sold to a gentleman by the name of DiSilva from Belmont Chev Olds performance division. It was raced and the engine was grenaded!! He replaced it with a 454 and it was a big secret as he didn't want anyone to know so he could still race in the same class. The fact that it is being sold with the original engine is a complete fraud. I've contacted Mecum about this but I really don't expect a reply. There are more bogus COPO's out there than the factory ever produced. Buyer beware
