Larry Larson had trouble getting a clean pass in his '66 ChevyII yesterday while Jeff Lutz in his '57 BelAir laid down a 7.002 @ 212! So Lutz takes the overall lead with a 7.06 @ 212mph average while Larson slides to a 7.11 @ 198mph average, with Tom Bailey in his '69 Camaro creeping up with a 7.33 @ 189mph average [somewhere on the backroads of Arkansas in the middle of the night Tom had a rocker fail, so he's scrambling to find a replacement in time to make the call on Thursday]. If they all made the horrendous drive last night and can survive tonight's drive back to Tulsa then tomorrow will be an absolute slugfest!
