If anyone is interested, I will restore the appearance of your PF25 oil filter to that of the assembly line, which is white with black silk screening.
The price is $200.00 plus shipping which, in the lower 48, is typically $40.00 without additional insurance. That includes shipping to and from the screener and shipping to your address. I will strip your filter, paint the body (minus top bead)the original white and then screen. The artwork I had professionally created is excellent and looks just like the original font. The paint coverage is factory industrial and often there is box wear noticeable...just like the originals. It is my opinion the embossed units were typical for 1969 model year production, from approximately January of 1969 thru mid year 1970 model year. At that point, the filter lost the embossing but, all else remained identical. I sell, outright, the embossed units for $700.00 and the non embossed for $250.00. The fluting on the bottom is just like the factory units as is the circle diameter, unlike the current reproduction. These are service production units which have been cosmetically restored to assembly line appearance. Sorry, I don't do reproduction units because their configuration is so non-typical. If interested, plz contact me at: Mark Donnally 600 Harvest Lane Harrodsburg, KY 40330 859-612-9121 [email protected]
