Wounded Warrior Project Ski Event..

We have 30 service men and women arriving today for the annual "Learn to Ski and Ride" event held at Windham Ski Center. This 4 day event is sponsored by the Adaptive Sports Foundation which is based at Windham. This special program for members of the Wounded Warrior Project started in 2005 and gets bigger and better every year.

The whole town gets involved in helping to support the troops..it is a real community event. My Karen helps coordinate the media coverage for this event along with other duties. There are literally over 200 volunteers involved including a great group of guys from the NYC Fire Dept.

The weather is calling for some snow tonite and Saturday...should be a great weekend [img]<<GRAEMLIN_URL>>/biggthumpup.gif[/img]
