What I mean is Rat Rods were the "trend"..they have tapered off and then Gassers were/are in. Now the late 60's - 70's Day 2 cars are on the rise. All you have to do is look at what Dave Freiburger has been doing at Hot Rod to see this trend getting ramped up.
So if history repeats itself, the 80's stuff will be a "hot trend" again one day.
But trends are for the bandwagon bunch and I hope that most of the guys and gals on here are in it despite what's in or out. That seperates the true hot rodder from the bandwagon bunch.
I like seeing Pro Street and 80's influenced cars yesterday, today and tommorrow.
Build what's in your heart, not what everybody else says is cool at the time.
