You "parted out" an original black '70 Stage 1 Buick in 2005 or 2006??! Were you terminally ill in need of money? facing bankruptcy? going through a divorce and had to pay the ex? these are the only reasons I can see for doing such a thing and not passing the car on to someone else who may have a appreciated it more than you, even at a reduced cost. Not to be hating on you, but maybe you should consider coin collecting or the stock market if money means that much to you - obviously musclecars don't. Unless you did it for one of the above reasons I outlined, that was a real shame for someone to do that. </div></div>
What if I told you that my sister was terminally ill and needed help in her dying days making ends meet? What if I told you that if I didn't do what I did, her children wouldn't have a decent meal or decent clothes to wear out in public? You think about that next time you judge someone.
I agree it was sad to part it out and I had a rough time doing it. I don't get where you're justified in judging me (probably because you're not). While we're drawing conclusions here, yours that means you must not believe in God right? If you say you do, you have no respect for him because we are advised to leave the judging up to him. I'm no religious fanatic, but while you're sitting on high ground looking down at us all, I just thought I would put that out there. Too bad you weren't around back then, you could have thrown down the cash and saved me from going to car collector's hell LOL .
For the rest of you that might be curious as to why someone might do such a thing, I will share it with you and start by asking a question. What is the difference between fulfilling one guy's dream to have a car like this and fulfilling many people's dreams by making their cars complete and helping many people get their restorations to a numbers matching status? Do you have any idea how many cars became numbers-matching, respected builds from just my one parted out car? I do! That's why I have no issue as a car enthusiast sleeping at night.
