Yes No cowl hoods until Late Dec. 1968
May have an X code behind the rear seat. If it hasn't had the tail pan replaced you can pull a back up light and see if the hole is stamped to help authenticate it's having left the factory equipped as a RS. Pinstripes? A RS Z28 should not have pinstripes over the wheel arches.
