here is a new photo using the macro button ENIO45 WAS RIGHT!!!!! it does have a "C" stamped in the rear diff, 3 spaces before the "BE" , why so far away? maybe the hammer marks were done by someone before me or even me as a kid??? the trans says P9?05B, it has marks on it from prying the mid plate off of the trans, it was corroded on when i was a kid and i broke it getting it off. i will be the first here to admit i was wrong on the stamping. i just never touched the rear diff stamp until tonight and sanded the surface to get it good and clean and there it was a big fat "C" in front of the "BE" you learn something everyday huh?</div></div> Curious if you know of, or remember any other Glockner COPO's if you lived in, or near, Portsmouth back in the day. I have a friend that has a Glockner COPO and is still looking for information on the car. We believe it came to Michigan fairly early in it's life and is a Dusk Blue car. Hope this works out for you and another Glockner COPO is found. |
