IMO
i am into 1970's Chevelles and i always hated seeing a White SS until i saw one with a black vinyl roof.
it breaks down all that white with perfect harmony to black stripes and a black interior.
if your 1969 has the black interior with black side stripe it will look stunning.

attached is a photo of a 70 as i do not have one of a 69.
