Wow, I actually have some old color 8mm home movies from that place. Didn't know St. Thomas was still around! One of the films I have (circa 1973) shows my brother's 1969 GTO, with about 40,000 on the odometer, all original, and hubcaps, smoking the right rear tire against our friend's 1969 Dart 340.

Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove Wisc. is also in trouble, but for different reasons. After all these decades, with no homes within 10 miles of the track, developers began building homes. Now there's a movement to close down the Great Lakes Dragaway due to noise problems.
