I know this is basically a GM site but I am looking for opinions throughout the hobby on the value of this car.
First year for the 426 street Hemi. Dodge only built 11 BASE Coronet 2 door sedans with a 426 Hemi and a 4 speed. This is one of those cars. I have only seen ONE for sale EVER. This is a no chrome, rubber floor mat car that was order as an all business racer. This car has NO options other than the standard equipment that came with the Hemi. No radio and no heater. This is not your run of the mill (if there is such a thing) 66 Hemi car, it is a very rare model. Until I bought it, it had never been titled or licensed. This is a California/Arizona rust free, uncut, original sheet metal, no body damage car that was bought new to race. Only 36 HUNDRED miles. Original matching numbers car with documentation. Fresh rebuilt engine to NHRA blueprint specs. The weak point of this car is the paint. Although it does not show in the pictures there are waves in the paint, NOT the metal. It needs to have the sides blocked and resprayed. This car does not need the door jams, trunk or engine bay redone it is basically the sides but of course I would do the entire exterior surfaces. Here is a link to a photo album of the car and scans of the documentation. http://s283.photobucket.com/albums/k...emi%20Coronet/ |
