Dad was active duty Army and we moved several times while I was growing up. I remember laying in bed in Athens Greece listening to The Crimson Tide Playing between the Hedges in Georgia on Armed Forces Radio as a kid... That was cool. I don't think just any old team got radio play in Greece in the 80's....
.. Don't forget this song by Steely Dan: They got a name for the winners of the world. I want a name when I lose. They call Alabama the Crimson Tide. Call me Deacon Blue.... Tommy ![]() |
