Those engines have all the improvements of the ZL1 ie. holley double pumper carb, open chamber heads, stronger rods bolts and revised camshaft. The only difference is the short block material and the iron block was better for HP than the aluminum block was. As for the new ZR1, it only took 40years and a power adder to do it.
