Default 70 bucket seat 4 spd shifter location

I am working on my L78 4spd car and when I got it the floor was kind of hacked by the shifter hump but the original shifter hump was there in partial. My dash does not have a tach and I thought that meant I did not have a console with gauges - so I was assuming I had a no console 4spd with buckets - now doing more research and learning that if it had the hump than it probably had a console - can anyone enlighten me?
Thanks
Mike
