Rich,
I had a similar experience with my old garage, except it was a skunk. The droppings were my first clue that I had an unwelcome visitor. I was at a loss as to what to do, since I didn't want to startle the little guy and get a garage full of stink. I eventually threw a couple of firecrackers into the garage, out of shear desperation, and walked away. About 15 minutes later, he decided it was time to leave. On a side note, when our black and white cat was young, she wandered into the neighbors house when they left the side door open. She decided to take a nap on a pile of laundry in the basement. When my neighborette went to do the laundry, she saw the cat, thought it was a skunk and screamed. It scared the cat and out of the house she went. I guess it is varmint season. Phil Woj |
