Default Re: 1970 Chevelle SS 396

OK Frank..no offense taken...so don't take any from what I'm about to say ..OK?

First look at my feedback...well over a thousand as buyer and seller. 100% positive. I'm not a rookie at this...and when I sell..I don't question buyers with a track record of e-bay-ers like me.

Now on how to sell a car on e-bay..I've sold my share there as well...as seller it's always a challenge as to what to start a listing off at..

some may say to just make the opening bid the absolute bottom dollar you would take for the car...

I think that's not a particularly bad idea..especially for sellers who, for some odd reason...find fault in bidders who somehow insult them with a bid that is less than what is in the sellers minds eye of fair.

Value is in the eye of the beholder. You have one good looking car there...I wanted to buy it...I like it when the seller is motivated and seems to be happy I'm interested in his car.

Of course you understand that just because I'm the high bidder at $15,100 that doesn't mean that was what I actually bid... right?...my bid started with a 'two'..not 'twenty seven'...but not $15,100 either. Figuring there was over a week left..I thought my opening bid was a good one...but seemingly it has caused strife..

I don't like to cause strife, I apologize. I'm sure you will have no problem selling such a beautiful car. Happy Easter!
