Hay Russel, don't feel bad, my old man never owned a V8 untill I joined the Navy, he thought a Chevy 6 was the greatest thing since sliced bread.
He would let me drive the 60 VW ( all 36 hp

)in the empty lot next to our house, I never once had a driving lesson from him, one day after washing the Bug, he said go ahead and take it around the block. I think I was 15.
All the other kid's in our hood made fun of us cause we were the only ones without a cool car.
