Hi
Many vehicles used the regulator originally. To name a few: 1955-61 Corvette 1955-56-57 Chevrolet-Buick-Olds-Pontiac w/P/S 1958-62 Chevrolet-Buick-Olds-Pontiac w/o AC. I think trucks from that era did too. Check for a stamped date,right after the 12V.It will look like 7E for 1957,May.
