Also looks like silver paint on head next to intake bolt. Other areas are too hard to tell or bare. [/ QUOTE ] My understanding is that area was painted with aluminum/silver paint to cover bare metal between head and intake. This also why the intake bolts,engine lift brackets and distributor hold down had aluminum overspray. I believe this is why the wirestands were touched up by brush (due to silver overspray). These are the areas/details jewels of information that can only be found on true survivors. Any overspray on the valve covers??
