Default Re: A Little Different ZL-1 Powered Camaro….......

Thanks for the comments.

I tried to do something a little different but retain that raw power the ZL-1’s were known for. It’s got some raw power so I accomplished that part of the plan. I’ll let others judge if it’s to different or not different enough or something in between. It’s a very fun car to drive. With that 6 speed 1st gear pulls like a 4:35 ratio and 6th gear is like 2:30 ratio. Almost the best of both worlds.

The Valve covers are from PML. They make some very nice products. www.yourcovers.com

The air cleaner does not index into the hood like a vette. If I’m driving more than a few miles I have a second air cleaner set up I run.

Tex, how’s the car doing?

Thanks again
