Look very closely at the listing, buy it now and reserve fees. Very often $0.01 can be a couple of dollars. Example: a starting price of $49.99 vs $50.00 may have a listing fee difference of a dollar or two. You can play with this on the last step before you "submit" to start the auction.

The shipping calculator that Ebay has is quite often way off, especially on larger or heavy items. Use the UPS, USPS or Fedex online calculator.
