Default Re: Insurance on the Race Track

Knew a guy with a beautiful 1970 Chevelle SS396 that ended up with a busted windshield when the car in the next lane busted a pinion yoke going through the traps and sent a nice chunk through his windshield. Strange circumstances. The Chevelle owner wanted something done about it, but it was a street car and the other car was a 10 second race car(uninsured). Chevelle owner was pretty much on his own to pay for it out of his own pocket or claim it happened on the highway and turn it into his own coverage. Like I said, strange circumstances, but an example of what can happen.
