[/ QUOTE ] It is the same number on the end caps marked left and right the part number is followed by a REV #. This is how AO Smith designated the early tooling and marked the production changes to the cap molds. End cap Fitment on the quarters was a big problem which postponed and greatly limited the number of cars built in 70. Phil
