			Jim, Check your forward U-joint. (Actually, while you're under there, check them both!) Typically, when they start to go, you get clunking noises when shifting from reverse to forward gears (and vice versa). The sudden change in direction puts a lot of stress on the U-joints and it's very possible this is the problem. Ed
