My car had that fall on its face thing I call it. Give it gas and it just won’t take it. If i feathered the throttle and kinda babied into taking gas it would pick up and go on. This I my way of trying to explain how it acted.
I played around with the timing some and made sure the vacuum advance was working properly which it was. I kept coming back to the carb was the issue and after hearing about Eric’s work here on the site for a long time I felt it was time to ask him to take a look at it. I’m cleaning a few gas stains on the intake now and addressing a couple more engine compartment stuff and should have it back together soon. Later,
