Kool video. This place was right down the road from NicKey Performance.
Jack Loftus Ford was the Chicago Land Shelby dealer and they were involved with all types of racing. They were a high profile performace dealer. Like NicKey Chevrolet to Chevy and Mr, Norm to Dodge. They were right down the road from Jack Douglass Chevrolet and in the 1960-70s Hinsdale Illinois was a very affluent Suburb (as it still is today). https://www.carscoops.com/2021/01/ra...r-1-5-million/ One of the prevalent US30 Dragstrip associations for race cars like this was the UDRA.
