Default Re: Musclecar Photographs mrays

Here are some photos from Rick Treworgy's Musclecar City that I took in 2009.

Nice 66 Chevy II SS L79. This car was featured in the November 2007 issue of Musclecar Enthusiast.

This 69 Nova had an L78 and a 4 speed. It was featured in the December 2007 issue of Musclecar Review where the author stated it was a rare non SS L78 Nova. To my knowledge the L78 and L34 was only available with the SS package. If this is a real deal L78 Nova I assume it was just restored without the SS trim.

This 65 Malibu SS Z16 was the one from Sherwood Chevrolet in Johnson City TN that was given to Dan Blocker to drive in 1965. I believe the story is that he was given the option of buying it but declined and turned it back into a dealer in CA at the end of the year. This car was featured in the June 1998 issue of Super Chevy when it was owned by T. Gunter. It is also in Art of the Muscle Car.

This 67 El Camino has an L35 with A/C.

This 69 El Camino SS is an L78 4 speed car.

This 70 Chevelle SS convertible had an LS6 with a 4 speed. I believe the only documented Black Cherry LS6 convertible is the one D. Christenholz used to own so I assume this one is a clone.

67 Z/28 with cowl plenum induction.

66 GTO convertible with tri-power and the California smog setup.

70 442 W-30 with A/C and a TH400.
