1969 633 calipers stamped numbers

Did anyone ever notice the stamped numbers on one ear of the 633 calipers?Just restoring the original calipers from my trans am and noticed the stamped number.It is a larger number then the casting date. The casting date is 80 and the stamped numbers are 112. I think they are assembly dates???anyone?? thanks John
