Gilbert FD just bot this impressive bad boy. I asked if I could stand on a platform (8 ft off the deck) to get a birds eye view of the show and snap a few photos, and the Captain said, "how about we take you up on the ladder?"

We leveled off here and then proceeded up to 60' (she could have gone to 100! )

Sam, Thank you very much for attending our show yesterday and for volunteering to be official event photographer. As you have noted, this turned out to be an amazing show for a very worthy cause. After a long hot day in the sun this event raised $1,500.00, which will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-day walk. Later this month, my wife Dena and Tommies wife Marilyn will be participating the Susan G.Komen 3-day day 60 mile walk. They both have been training since last spring and are very exited to be a part of this great event. Thank you for your generousity yesterday and for posting these pictures for everyone to enjoy.

Mike

Great show for a great cause! Thanks for the COOL pics Sam!

I took these pics from up on one of those platforms. There was a guy painting the light poles in our parking lot, so I asked him if he would take my camera and shoot some photos for me, but he insisted on taking me up. I was shaking like a leaf! I can't believe these photos are not BLURRY. I don't know how high we were, but he wanted to go HIGHER! I said "no, this is high enough, thank you!"

Nice shots Sam... Was that L78 Chevelle Rag Top sold new at an Ohio dealership?? I noticed the Ohio 69 plate on it...

Rich

Hey Rich,

'spect the Ohio plates are because that is where Tommie Lee is from. The L78 ragtop Chevelle was delivered new to Ourisman Chevy from MD. I was stationed near there about 8 yrs ago and they were still in business in Marlow Heights, MD.
