Wow, didn't know anyone from this board was going to be in OC! I was there Friday through Sunday without the Chevelle. I made the rounds to the Inlet and Harley Davidson. Ice Cream Castle was PACKED and never got to park there. Ended up at a place next to the Green Turte.
I took like 300 photos, still editing them. But you guys covered things pretty well without my pics.

We're already planning on being there next year, only then we won't be coming in a "Grapes of Wrath" packed Suburban. One buddy will be bringing either a '55 or a '64, the other a '59 348 Sedan Delivery, and I'll bring "something?"
. Like I said, it's like a mini-Woodward Ave. Except that the cars "move". You don't have to prepare your car by pulling it up to a concrete wall and let it idle for 30min without overheating before deciding to go............ If you're sitting at the curb, you'll see more cars in an hour (avg 40mph) than at Woodward (avg 3mph). Less cars, but you see more. None stop.Verne ![]() |
