Welcome aboard Jeff. Terrific car, wonderful story. Would you mind posting some photos of your restoration process? That'd be swell

Cool. I'm glad I posted the pictures of it. Very cool car. I wish I would have talked to you, time goes by so fast at the car shows. So you live in Concord? I live right in Harrisburg. You should bring the car to the car show at Auto Barn on Nov. 8 and the Hendrick Motorsports show on the 22nd. Hope to see the car again soon. Look for my fathom blue, white stripe 70 SS

Hi Jeff, Thanks for sharing your story with us. I was at the same hotel as you at Chevellabration. I was surprised to see your Z16 parked right below the balcony of our room. After talking with you for awhile I knew you were the right guy to own this car. I'd also like to see progress pics of the other Z16. |

I hung on every word of that post! GREAT HISTORY! I am glad you have this car as you sounds like you will be a good caretaker of it. I absolutely love original cars and sometimes wonder if future generations will have the opportunities to view them, like we have. Thanks for showing us. |

Nice to see you on the site, Jeff. As you know, I also had the pleasure of getting to know Dave M. through Chevy Vettefest, and worked with him on the Z16 Reunion we had at last years Chevy Vettefest. I know you had planned to be a part of this, but it didn't work out. How about considering bringing it out for our next show November 22-23? We would all love to see it in person and I assure you it would be well received. I am currently working on having another super low mile Z16 at the show, and the two side by side would make an awesome display. Indeed, many of us will miss Dave, he was a true enthusiast and a gentleman, in addition to being incredibly knowledgible. Bob Ashton [email protected] |
