No paper work at this time, I may have found the original owners name. He lived in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. I'm pursuing that now. In a few minutes, I'll be putting on some pics that are pretty convincing. Tom

Here's a picture that will make all you 435 owners run out to the garage and pull your rear wheel center caps off. If you look at the 7:00 position on the flange of my rear axle (outermost part), you will see an "O" stamped in it. This signified that the axle was shot peened. Sometimes a "+" was used also. The only cars that got this axle were 65 396s, 66 427/425s and 67 427/435s. If your car doesn't have this it doesn't mean it wasn't a high horse big block, the axles could have been changed. If your car does have these marks, it is generally accepted that it is a 396 427/425 or 427/435. I have looked at approx 50 orig cars (about half high horse) and found no exceptions to this rule, but I imagine there is an exception to every rule. FYI this info came to me from a 67 435 collector that has 10 or 12 cars at any one time. More to come. Tom

Original radiator, fan shroud, core support. This pic was taken right after I purchased it in 05. Orig radiator has since been repaired.
